Did I Make the Wrong Decision?

Every decision, no matter the outcome, offers an opportunity to learn and grow.

I’ve been there. The tough decisions that make you question yourself.

One decision I had to make recently was whether or not to discontinue my group coaching program. It was hard, and it wasn’t a simple yes or no. Either option would have been right—both paths would lead me to new opportunities to grow and learn.

I hesitated. I wrestled with the fear of letting something go that had been such a big part of my business.

Here’s what I’ve learned: there’s no “right” or “wrong” decision. Both paths offer something to teach us. Both lead toward growth.

When clients come to me asking “What should I do?”, I don’t give them the answer. I help them uncover the decision that feels right for them.

We explore what feels aligned with their values and vision, giving them space to trust their instincts and move past the fear that holds them back. Decision-making, at its core, is about choosing the path that feels empowering and aligned, not “perfect.”

For agency leaders, this is a powerful mindset shift. Every choice, no matter the outcome, gives you something to learn. Trusting that process allows you to make decisions from a place of confidence and growth.

At the Elevated Decision Making retreat, we talked about this. Specifically, how decision-making can be a tool for growth and clarity in leadership.

What’s a decision you’ve been putting off, and how can you approach it knowing that no decision is wrong, only an opportunity to learn?

Growth happens when we embrace every choice as part of the journey.

How do you approach big decisions in your agency? Let’s explore how fine-tuning this skill can elevate your leadership.
