Is this the year you’ll disconnect over the holidays?

Ah, the holiday season – a time for joy, reflection, and connection.

But amidst the glittering lights and festive cheer, there's often an unspoken pressure to remain tethered to work, even during these precious moments.

So, I ask you my friend

Do you have the courage to disconnect from your agency over the holidays?

In this fast-paced world, the lines between work and personal life have become blurred.

Our phones and devices keep us connected 24/7, breaking the boundaries between rest and responsibility.

Yet, I'm here to tell you that it's not just okay, but essential, to reclaim your time and your peace during this special time of year.

Disconnecting from your agency over the holidays takes courage – the courage to prioritize your mental well-being, to set boundaries, and to honor the moments that truly matter.

It's about declaring (unapologetically) that your personal time holds more value than the demands of work.

Let me share a story about why disconnecting is so crucial.

Elf is a must-watch movie in my family. You’ll find it on Netflix listed as a comedy.

That last part is important.

If it’s a comedy, why is it that whenever I watch it, I reach for the tissues and inconspicuously wipe away my tears while everyone else is laughing?

Ultimately, the film demonstrates that disconnecting from the chaos of daily life allows for genuine connections, the rekindling of festive spirit (however you celebrate), and the rediscovery of the true meaning of the holidays – love, relationships, and spreading happiness.

So why do I secretly sob?

It’s because the movie’s message reminds me that life outside of work matters most.

😢😢😢😢😢

My friend, disconnecting doesn't equate to neglect, lack of discipline or means you don’t really want your agency to succeed.

It's a conscious choice to nurture your spirit, to honor your relationships, and to create a life that harmonizes personal and professional time.

And that takes courage.

This holiday season, I invite you to dare to disconnect.

Give yourself the gift of uninterrupted free time.

You'll find a deeper sense of fulfillment and joy that extends far beyond the holiday season.

Wishing you a season filled with peace, love, and the courage to embrace true disconnection.
