who are you productive

Who Are You?

Have you ever been asked that question?

Or more importantly, have YOU ever asked YOURSELF that question?

If you’re like most people you answered NO.

Until now.

Because I’m here to let you in on a secret …

The essential productivity ingredient to accomplishing your work with ease and flow … is YOU!

First of all, let’s get something straight … you are not broken … and this is not about fixing you. Right?

What this is about is creating clarity around who you want to be … and how you want to show up.

Who you want to be is completely within your control.

Achieving different outcomes is always an inside job … right?

If you don’t believe you can change … or that it won’t work for you … then it won’t. It’s as simple as that.

On the flip side … if you believe you can set boundaries, banish distractions and get your priorities accomplished … then you will.

You are not a victim of distractions … you are in control … and you get to choose.

A misstep that’s often made is people try to change things on the outside first.

For example, and I hear this all the time … people say to me:

I’ll be more productive if I have:

  • the latest productivity app
  • a faster computer
  • a nicer office
  • a fancy planner

And you know what … it seldom happens.

You can have all the productivity accessories you want. But if you still believe you’re not a productive person, you’ll keep spinning on that hamster wheel.

Imagine how you’d feel if every day you checked off your top priorities as DONE.

If you had your evenings and weekends completely free from work.  If you felt focused and calm as you moved through your day?

How amazing does that feel at just the suggestion of the possibility?

It’s not a dream. It’s a reality. It can happen and it all starts with believing it’s possible. Or rather … believing YOU ARE possible to achieve it.

Can you feel your mindset shifting?

Maybe you heard your inner critic telling you that’s not how you work. That it’s not possible for you.

That’s natural. As you stretch toward what you really want… your inner critic always makes an appearance.

You see your true productivity power resides in your mind … specifically in how you see yourself.

And it starts with you making this very important decision.

Decide who you want to be.

This directly affects how you show up.

It affects the choices you make, the work you do, and how you feel as you move through your day.

That one seemingly simple decision creates a ripple effect. It moves through you … to your business … your clients … your team … your family … and so on.

As Ralph Waldo Emerson once said …

“The only person you are destined to become, is the person you decide to be.”

So I invite you to consider …

Who do you want to be?
